Learning a wrong string instrument playing technique from the beginning will slow your pace on becoming a good player, not only that, but it will also limit getting the most out of your instrument, which can become frustrating over time. Simple but effective corrections will make it easier for you to express yourself through your instrument. GET THE CHRISTMAS FEELING ! Workshop will be done with 2 Christmas songs as samples, glühwein and cookies. For beginners & experts and all in between, all are most welcome!
What will be covered:
- Correct position of your instrument and body.
- Correct usage of fingers, nails, skin, hands and arms
- Dynamics, controlling the attack on the strings to express diverse moods and characters.
- Multiple approaches to notes and chords
- Correct your strumming, diverse strumming patterns and techniques.
- Correct finger and hand positioning, right and left hand
- Stop playing on the same octave over and over. Learn to transpose and use more frequencies to create more atmospheres.
