T H E ✠ C O N C E P T
Learning an instrument is really not that difficult if you truly enjoy it, it´s more how students are being taught and the approach to the instrument. I truly believe that if you first learn to play the instrument theory afterward will be much easier to understand, will make more sense, and will even be fun.

I first try to connect musically and spiritually with all of my students, each head is a world of its own, so it is important for me to know your music and artistic interests. It is also important for me to know what motivates you musically, afterward we go your path together,… but I will also provide you with other techniques that will broaden your playing style and even your musical taste. You will learn through songs or styles you like the most. The way I teach is more about colors, forms, games and intuition. I have the same amount of grown-ups students as children as young as 6 years old. Students won’t go empty-handed after the lesson, they will be provided with homework and exercises. We will take advantage of the technology, through Apps & other musical gadgets we will practice and stay in contact, students can always send me small clips of themselves for me to correct or ask any sort of question, I will respond as soon as possible.

I understand that every person has diverse learning and corporal capabilities. I am an extremely patient person, I have no problem repeating or explaining the exercises over and over, at the end of the day it´s all about the student´s progress.
HOW LONG ✠ HOW MUCH?
How much time do I have to invest in practicing? Depends on how passionate are you about the instrument. But if you are on a daily rush with work or studies on a daily basis, a daily 20 minute practice would be enough (of course more is better). With such a routine and being persistence in 2 months you could reach a level where you could play any main chord, play 2 or 3 of your favorite songs, play applying basic strumming and arpeggio techniques, learn the musical alphabet, intervals, scales, Chord theory and progressions, melody, harmony, musical vocabulary and correct body posture while playing. You could be ready to play your favorite songs and jam with other musicians in few weeks.

I can´t remember if I first grabbed an electric guitar or the guitar grabbed me when I was 10 years old. Back then I was introduced to PACO DE LUCIA´s flamenco, JOAQUÍN RODRIGO (Concierto de Aranjuez) and VAN HALEN´s guitar riffs through vinyl records, I just couldn’t stop playing them over and over. with 11 I took piano lessons but with the piano I was stuck in one home´s corner, but with a guitar there was the possibility to become a musical nomad, so with 13, I took my first classical guitar lesson. Ever since I have been playing and making music by myself or with bands learning diverse techniques, styles, and rhythms. During my anthropology university studies I took 2 semesters of ethnomusicology to undercover the origins of European and Latin-American music, attended many guitar and percussion seminars and workshops and up until now I have been musically active and composing ♬
